Join ABQ Beeks mentors and experienced beekeepers to learn how to work both Langstroth and Top Bar hives at the Open Space Visitor Center Bee Yard. It's FREE! We only have room for 13 beeks per yard visit, so make sure to RSVP (you must be an ABQ Beeks member to RSVP). First come, first served. If you can't make it, kindly remove your name so the next person in the list can attend. Please prepare accordingly: wear light colored clothing, closed-toe shoes, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, and avoid heavy fragrances. The Open Space Visitor Center has a limited number of veils for loan. You must have one to participate. It can be hot in the bee yard - bring plenty of water.
