Ive seen those dead in the back of my top bar hives with other hive debris. I’m not sure of what type of beetle it is—but its never caused problems in my hives (and isn’t a small hive beetle). 

Euphoria inda - Bumble Flower Beetle. They move into some of my hives in the fall, and I have found them completely propolized and still alive in the spring!
