Strange

I saw this bee, still alive, with a large hole in it's back. Anybody know anything about it?

Not sure but the yellow jackets are showing up in large numbers

and they do carry off honey bees when they can,they are hunters

and will test hives to see if they are weak,they also love honey bees larva

so be on the look out ,yellow jackets wake up earlier and stay up later at nite than honey bees.
