Elizabeth Lake please repost the picture of the bee in Bosque Farms, I inadvertantly deleted it, opps, anyway I think the picture represents a member of the Colletidae family perhaps; Caupolicana yarrowi, members of this family are collectively referred to by their common name as Plasterer bees, because they "plaster" the inside of their habitat (hole in ground) to waterproof it.

We sure needed the moisture, alfalfa is blooming, saw some white clover that really looked healthy by Los Lunas. Darn most all the Alfalfa pastures immediatly around me were rotated into grass this year.
