NMSU Extension Office and USDA just came and did a thorough "preliminary" investigation including notes, pictures, samples and GPS coordinates. I've been advised to keep the site intact because other agencies and maybe even the feds are going to want to look at this. In the meantime, take whatever you got and reduce your entrances to no more than 1/4" in height, which is the spacing on a queen excluder, which the attacker couldn't get through. Do this now. They don't think I'm a nut job anymore.

This was here in Albuquerque, this was my colony. I just discovered this on Saturday. I can't get a hold of anybody I've emailed and left messages with the NMSU extension offices in Las Cruces and Albuquerque, Jason Schaller at the Biopark, USDA APHIS division and here on the beeks. Nobody will respond. The only thing I can find that does this is the "murder hornet" or Asian Giant Hornet which all the experts say aren't here and likely won't ever come here. Well I got news for you, you better further reduce the height of your entrances. In the meantime please help me make somebody aware of what just happened to my girls
