Got my second swarm call today. Guess the weather is right for colonies in walls to send off swarms. This south valley swarm/cutout is in a house wall. Sounds like swarm is near the entrance that the…Continue

Recent swarm call didn't pan out, they were gone when I got there. It looks like there is a large colony still under the small wooden shed (8'x8' or so) in the back yard. Would anyone be interested…Continue

Carlos, i'll see you at the meeting tonight. we can talk about the ABQ Sunport Green Project.
I'm also going to see if i can bring my Glass Hive in. Just to display and see if there are any interests in using it as an educational tool.
Oh, you are in the other 5 points. I love that part of town. I bet your bees are happy with that huge alfalfa farm that is right by that Smith's. I have been keeping my bees since april of last year. started with 2 hives, captured a swarm and then did an extraction that was living in a roof. It was a pretty great first season. I had four hives before winter. They seemed to all be thriving last week and now I am pretty worried about 2 of them...no signs of activity around their entrance. I will keep you posted.
Hi Carlos. I am near Old coors and Gonzales. Where is Silver Hill? When did you get your bees? Nice to make a new friend and compare notes sometime.
