"I am now researching a Layens hive for use in the spring.  It is a horizontal hive - more like a Langstroth on its side.  My husband has plans and will be building a few this winter. Jill Ross"

I have been interested in insects since childhood. I am an organic gardener, have a koi pond in my yard, and would love to learn beekeeping.
