Thanks Joe. That's great.
Hi Joe, you gave me a swarm a few years ago, and I would like to add another hive this year. If you have any available, I would love to get one. Thanks.

I just went through the hive with my son David's help and we saw no brood. Pretty sure I am queen less. I would be able to take a swarm if there is an extra.

Hi Joe,
My allergies are so bad that I want to get bees again. This time I will try to stay with one top bar hive. I know my neighborhood can not support more than that. I think if I use the top bar I will be able to handle it more easily.
My problem is the cost. Please let me know if you hear about someone selling a top bar. As soon as I find that I will put my name on the swarm list.
Thanks Joe. Hope you are having a allergy free springtime.

WOW, THIS IS GREAT INFORMATION (I WILL FOLLOW THAT ADVICE). THANK YOU JOE
Hi Joe, I just finished my first year as a beekeeper and it was a great year
(ten jars of honey and what appears to be a healthy hive).
I left approximately 7 to 8 frames of honey in an eight frame Langstroth.
Some pollen was also left and the brood pattern looked good.
My question is this: on an exceptionally warm day in Feb should I
feed pollen patties (I’ve heard that this helps in stimulating the queen
in laying and results in a larger bee population in the spring) ? I also
plan on adding a medium super around the middle of March to
help ward off potential swarming.
Hi Joe,
Just checking. I want to get it right this time. My bees are still using sugar water and storing only a little honey. To prepare for the winter, I'm thinking about asking George to build some of the sugar feeders. As I understand it, they are just a 2" space in the bottom of the hive where I can put granulated sugar, enough to support them over winter. Do you think this is a good idea?
Hello Joe,
Thank you so much for presence, assistance, and knowledge with my hive last week! I greatly appreciate it!
Valerie
Never mind my last comment, looks like it will be a trapout that can be pushed to the spring, but I still would like to hear your opinion on winter removal survival!
Thanks
