Can anyone recommend/comment on the book "The Practical Beekeeper, Beekeeping Naturally" ?

Thanks - Sam

I left a comment somewhere and not sure where so I am doing it again. I needed some feedback on these top bars- pine_warre_top_bars_ea5ae41a-c67f-4ca0-a3a5-e213ec47f4d2_2000x.jpg
Do I need to wax them or will they be ok without in my warre?
